We went to visit SuperGuy’s aunt in Kansas City. Look at the cool ice sculpture at the retirement village she lives in.
I thought it was really cool. Retirement places aren’t what they used to be, are they?
I was just intrigued by the whole sculpture and how someone could picture that in their head and carve out the sculpture.
Don’t you love the bubbles in the reindeer’s head? Very cool.

Happy 4th of July, my friends. Hope you are having a great one! We’re BBQing over at my sister’s. Yay for not having it here at my house! Celebrate safely! SuperGuy has tomorrow off too so he’s enjoying his long weekend. I’ll see you back here on Tuesday when our “weekend” is over!
Yes, every year we dye easter eggs…then shoot them out into the woods with a sling shot. A bit untraditional, but we’ve never claimed to be the traditional family anyway, now have we??
Our target this year. (our targets have ranged from blue easter bunnies, to sponge bob square pants to…well, whatever we find that year. This year it was a hanging monkey!)
It’s fierce competition on who can hit the target more often…or harder…or whatever competitive thing they come up with…
