StephT is my hero

by Kay~Kacey on 7/3/2005

Seriously, my new hero is Steph T. She innocently commented on my last post…why don’t you write your synopsis in your spa. I thought to myself :useyourhead: that’s a great idea! Why didn’t I think of that???

So I plopped myself into the spa (after suggesting the dh invent waterproof tablets of paper and cool waterproof pens) and figured out the whole damn book. Got out once and typed in a bunch of stuff I’d come up with. Went back into the spa with a beer this time  and figured out the ending. I now have the rough outline of a synopsis. :lips:

DAMN! The spa is like another MAGIC SPOT. Who knew??? (and so much closer than driving to the lake! ) I LOVE  StephT. She is brilliant.

Woo-Who!! That Steph is great huh! Glad you got the syn figured out.

Kelly =) July 3, 2005 at 8:30 pm

LOL, Kacey! Gee, is this spa portable?? I could really borrow a magic spot. 😀

Margery July 4, 2005 at 6:38 am

I wonder if the bathtub works as well :bath: Must try that.

Suzanne July 4, 2005 at 7:00 am

I’m glad the spa worked out! Yay for the synopsis!

Mary July 4, 2005 at 8:46 am

Good for you. I brainstorm in the shower.

Rene July 4, 2005 at 9:00 am

But what do you do with the beer bottle while your writing?

Isn’t it funny where we get our inspiration? Glad it worked for you. I may have to try that, except dh always goes in with me and we have to chat :blah:

kacey July 4, 2005 at 9:25 am

Kelly…see picture of spa here. Totally portable…you get one at Walmart–preferably on clearance

Rene…luckily my spa isn’t big enough to share very easily… Besides, my dh was out back working on his big…deck. 🙂

Yay, Steph! Woohoo, Kacey! (Where’s the cheerleader icon when you need it? *g*)

We have a large jetted bathtub and I do a lot of thinking there. It is a Magic Spot. :cool2:

Larissa July 4, 2005 at 10:53 am

Ooh, good idea! Steph has her brilliant moments! :useyourhead:

I have a huge corner whirlpool bathtub, so maybe I’ll try it out. But the portable spa sounds really cool!

And congrats on getting the synopsis figured out!

First time on your blog…lovely blog…I like it!!

Crystal* July 4, 2005 at 11:45 am

Awesome! Nice to have another perspective, isn’t it?

Tori July 4, 2005 at 11:59 am

That’s great, Kacey!!! WTG, Steph!!!

Steph T. July 4, 2005 at 1:15 pm

Just. Spit. Soda. Onto. Keyboard.:rofl::rofl:

Yay – I’m glad it worked!!! Magic spots, beer and a synopsis – can’t beat em.

Being a hero for a day’s fun – especially if I made your life easier when writing the dreaded synopsis. *shudders at mention of synopsis*

kacey July 4, 2005 at 1:21 pm

Look, it’s a hero sighting!! :cool2:

dammit, Steph, sorry about the keyboard! 😉

Mary July 5, 2005 at 9:08 am

I have to find my magic spot because I’m stuck right now. Boo hoo.

Jill July 5, 2005 at 1:45 pm

So I need to work in the hot tub? Is that magic handshake?

Brenda Bradshaw July 5, 2005 at 3:18 pm

Well rock on. Now I have a legitimate reason to get one. Too bad my husband doesn’t support my writing more – maybe this spa thing would change that. I wonder if it can be taken as a career expense?

Steph T. July 6, 2005 at 7:05 pm

Hmmm – are you still in the spa?!:bath:
