Just got back from a long week’s trip. It’s so good to be home. Know that feeling? Like a handknit shawl draped around my shoulders.
Sleeping in my own bed with my perfectly squishy down pillows. Coffee exactly how I like it. Strong, black. Checking email on my Macbook. (and thinking of Leopardizing it this week) Reading in my favorite reclining chair. Ah. I could so become a homebody without much effort. There is just something so perfect about coming home to my own space. Even the unpacking and sorting and laundry can’t put a damper on the comfort and grandeur of being home. There IS no place like home, Dorothy.
