Fall Chores

by Kay~Kacey on 10/23/2009

Yes, it’s that time of year. Time to do some of the fall chores. “We” worked on them this week.

Time to dig up the Canna bulbs for the winter.

SuperGuy is even a cheerful fall chorer (is TOO a word).

It’s time to plant the TEN !! bushes that “we’ve” been talking about putting in to hide the underside of the deck.

Okay, I’ve been wanting to block the view under the deck…but SuperGuy picked out the bushes. So I figured it was his project… 😉

No, I was NOT trying to get a shot of SuperGuy’s behind. Honest. I’m not like that. I was just trying to show that, yes, he has on his beloved orange crocs.

After a hard day of fall chores…the newly stacked fireplace logs beckon…. what should we do now??    :love2:

Dog Piles

by Kay~Kacey on 10/22/2009

SuperGuy went to visit the Texas Boys at Texas Tech. Or maybe to visit their dogs…

(Why does he have TWO cell phones??)

The dogs are equal opportunity love dogs, as evidence in the love they’re showing to The Southern Girlfriend. (y’all)

The dog who shall remain nameless (as far as this blog is concerned!) is getting big, huh?

It’s very exhausting to eat brauts, drink beer, and watch football all day!

SuperGuy had a great time, but it took him DAYS to recover. I told him that amateurs shouldn’t party with professionals!

Mid Month Photo of the Month Reminder

by Kay~Kacey on 10/21/2009

Since I did such a lousy job last month reminding everyone about the Photo of the Month Contest, I thought I’d put up a mid month reminder. (okay, to be honest, the fifteenth  or so would have been mid month. Go with me here…)

(Another capture of the lovely Dogwood tree right out my bedroom window. So pretty.)

October’s Photo of the Month theme is FALL. So go forth and capture the perfect fall photos! I’ll call for submissions at the end of the month.

So what is your favorite fall tree? The one you think turns the prettiest in the fall? I have to say, I think my favorite is a maple tree.  Ours died :shakehead:

I miss its brilliant colors. Your favorite?
