I got together with a Bossier City Louisiana photographer friend of mine, DeAnn Arnold. We met up the day before the workshop I took a few weeks ago. I must share with you her kids.
Her daughter was just too adorable. Check out that blonde hair. The curls.
Okay, her son was just too cute too! Check out those eyes.
Really, I just love her hair, don’t you? She always had a lock of it flying around. So cute! She had the most expressive face! If you want to see more from the photo shoot, I posted them over on my Kay Pickens Photography blog.

We decide to put out lavender plants. 1) I love them 2) so far the deer have ignored all the lavender we have around the house 3) I love lavender 4) it’s right under my office window and smells heavenly 5) Did I mention I love lavender??
SuperGuy also moved the hydrangea plant he put in just a few weeks ago. It was getting too much sun. As you can see, it’s thriving in it’s new partial sun spot! So pretty!
We also worked on cleaning up the gazebo, washing it all out and bought new indoor/outdoor carpeting for it. SuperGuy is rescreening a few sections of it. When we get it all finished, I’ll be sure to show it off with some photos. Of course!
