Well, we know that SuperGuy has been know to burn his vehicle to a crisp. It appears he’s also an expert at flat tires. Two in two week. One in my car where he hit the curb and blew out the tire…we were in traffic in the pouring rain. Nope, I was not amused.
The next week?
Well, he had a flat on his truck too. You know what caused this flat??? Okay, don’t bother. You’ll never be able to guess! A bobby pin got stuck in the sidewall of the tire. Seriously. A bobby pin. So he saw it and pulled it out… Yep. Flat tire. They couldn’t plug it because it was in the side of the tire. (As an aside, I didn’t even know that bobby pins were still around these days!!)
So he got a new tire, but they couldn’t get the exact same one. See, now his car could be on Sesame Street! “One of these tires is not like the other. One of these tires doesn’t belong.” 😆
Sorry, you’re going to be singing that song all day now, aren’t you?? Anyway, this was just fair warning. Don’t let SuperGuy drive your car!

So we got propane heater pole thingies (You know, those heaters you see in restaurants on the patios?) We got a couple of them for our backyard courtyard so we can use it into the fall. (without me freezing my rear end off…) We also got a fire pit…but that tortuous story is for another blog post…
We found them at Sam’s, and SuperGuy put them together. I do like them. Nice, shiny, stainless. We’ll use them near the aforementioned turkey frier if it’s cold on Thursday.
So I look outside a bit later and what do I see???
Seriously?? Asleep on the concrete driveway?? That must have been one exhausting chore, don’t you think??? :toofunny:

No, I’m not talking about matching jewelry as in ring matches bracelet-matches earrings. I’m talking about…have you ever bought jewelry to specifically match your favorite sweater?? :crazy:
Yes, just a tad weird, but when have I ever been accused of being normal?? (This is where someone admits they’ve done it too…matched jewelry to some favorite piece of clothing. Go on, you’ll feel better if you confess…)
So a few years ago we were in Estes Park (cute silver jewelry stores there, by the way), and I just had to have this ring to match my sweater. Okay, and the bracelet too. I was wearing it tonight, and asked SuperGuy to take a photo of it with me in my matching sweater…
Why, yes, he WAS more interested in making sure his new truck was in focus than my ring… :wallbash:
Ah, there, that’s better…see how my jewelry matches my favorite sweater? (which, as a total aside…why is my favorite sweater coral colored when my favorite color is PINK??) Well, I have that problem with my tshirts too, if you remember–they are all coral colored…
But I digress….
I really should let him borrow my camera, or at least my macro, shouldn’t it? Ah, well. I do love this jewelry he bought me to match my favorite sweater. :love:
But next time I might just set up the tripod when I need a pic of myself…
