Remember when you were a kid and you used to stretch out on the cool grass and stare up at the clouds and pick out the pictures they made. A dragon. A dog. A man with a beard? Well, okay, I still sometimes like to do that. It keeps a person young, don’t you know. Why should kids have all the fun?
So, in an effort to procrastinate today…which isn’t a very hard thing for me to do… I was looking through my pictures from Palm Springs again. This picture keeps calling to me. Why? Because this is the strangest looking cloud. I mean, it’s like it wants to BE something. Make a cloud picture for me or something. But it’s just not quite there.
This was early morning, just as the sun was rising.
This is what the sunrise finally became. Glaring. Bright. Reflective.
But back to that cloud. Do you see something in that cloud? Please tell me what you see! It’s bugging me. What’s up with that one lonely cloud anyway? (Can you tell I’m avoiding paying bills, doing laundry, and all those things on my to do list?)

, the race is too close to call. You can keep obsessively checking the results. I’m leaving the voting open for another few days. Really, they were all such great photos. Who could choose??
