Not really. But SuperGuy finally weaseled his way behind the lens. Grabbed my our camera right out of my hands. Stole it. Took it. Okay, okay, got his turn.
So he took shots like this:

Here he’s caught a bit of my orange flower obsession…
Another orange flower…I guess I do have some influence over SuperGuy. Maybe.
So I’ve taken thousands of photos and SuperGuy, well, not so many. But his are gorgeous. In focus. Great shots right out of the camera. That does not make me happy. One should always make their wife happy. I think he should go back to woodworking, don’t you? Go ahead and leave a comment telling him to. He so does not get our MY camera tomorrow…. I’m so not amused if I think my photo of the month on my blog is actually one that SuperGuy took…

Pretty in Pink-or the Day of the Pink Flowers
I don’t know why the colors of the flowers out here seem more vivid! As a total aside, my sister once told me that I’m not a pink person. I’ve been obsessed with pink ever since. I wear pink tshirts. Pink shoes. Pink socks. Pink everything.
SuperGuy asked to borrow the camera again. But I was too busy taking all these pics of the pretty pink flowers. He seems like he’s getting a bit annoyed with me. I mean, the camera was an anniversary present we bought for each other this past year. I should let him use my our camera sometime, shouldn’t I?
But all these flowers call my name. SuperGuy is patient. I’m sure he can wait for his turn.
I can’t even imagine living in a place like this. Where the views take your breath away. The flowers scream with color. The sky is so blue it looks like it’s been photoshopped. The grass is that perfect green they call Grass Green in a box of crayola crayons. I’m going to just pretend this is my real life. I’m going to ignore the taunting of the return plane tickets. They must not really be for me.

Earlier this month, I mentioned I’m going to start a photo of the month challenge. Each month you pick your favorite photo that you took that month. Send me a link to the post with the photo.
Use the contact form at the top of my page, or click on my email address from a comment that I’ve left on your blog. Put photo of the month in the subject line.
Name your photo! Tell me why you picked it, why it’s your favorite photo of the month.
I’m ready for your February photos! Send me those links. If you have more than one photo in the post, make sure you tell me which photo it is that you want me to grab. Send it to me before the end of February!! (Go ahead, do it now. Procrastination never pays off 😉 )
At the beginning of March, I’ll post the photos here for all to see. (I might have to resize them to fit my blog, but I won’t crop them or anything)

edited to add. To the two early birds,(good non procrastinators that they were!) Ann and Maggie, I sent you an email. My contact form was stripping out the message. Well, at least that let me know the plugin wasn’t working. I have it fixed now! So sorry! (why does my blog sometimes try to be difficult??)
