Catching Some Rays

Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves.
~ James Matthe Barrie

Thank you, my blogging friends, for bringing sunshine into my gray winter. I so enjoy sharing with you and catching a glimpse of your lives. May the sun shine on you today.

edited to add: Last day to submit your photo for January’s photo of the month contest. The theme is COLD. Use the contact button at the top of the blog to send me your link. If you’re reading this after Saturday, January 31st it’s too late to enter! But make sure to join in on February’s fun!

Ask Kacey

by Kay~Kacey on 1/30/2009

So I said to myself, “Self, how about opening your blog up to questions from your readers?” Now, I ALWAYS listen to myself when I talk… :crazy2: I’m nice to myself that way. So, I decided to open this post up for questions. Ask anything you want. Well, within reason 😉 Well, not that I promise to answer EVERYTHING, but I’ll do my best.

This is your chance to ask me whatever you’ve been wondering. Go ahead, ask away…about me, my blog, my photography. Whatever. :blah: I’ll answer your questions in a future post.

Feed the Birds-Part Two

by Kay~Kacey on 1/29/2009

Well, it’s a good thing that SuperGuy filled the bird feeders. We keep getting hammered with sleet, ice, and snow.

nighttime snow

I’m a bit irritated that the big, fluffy flakes of snow only seem to fall at night. I’m wanting to have them fall during the day so I can get a good shot of them with the animals…

The birds are very patient though…

…waiting patiently for these males to SHARE THE BIRDFEEDER with them. Sorry. Didn’t mean to yell. But, really, don’t these guys realize there is a lineup to get to the feeder??

(Don’t forget about January’s Photo of the Month contest! The theme this month is COLD. In a very loose sense of the word. Send me a link to your entry. Time is running out!)
