Well, this isn’t a perfect match
But I’m fairly pleased. Ever since the Great Milk Glass Lampshade Disaster Smash ™ I have been haunted ebay, online stores, and antique malls looking for a replacement lampshade. Well, I found this one. It’s not perfect, but it looks pretty nice.
Doesn’t match the pretty rose pattern of the base.
But the milk glass is the same “shade” of white. I’m pretty pleased.
Of course, I will forever be looking for the matching lampshade, but this works for now. (like I need an excuse to go antiquing…)

Yep, I bet her workout would work better if I’d, you know, take it out of the cellophane wrapper…
(expanding on my Zumba…which is killing my knees…)
My friend, Michelle Willingham has started on the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and says she’s so sore she can hardly move…which isn’t exactly motivating me to open the DVD and get started on it…
In other news…it was sunny yesterday. I sat outside in the sun for 30 minutes. So nice. Granted I had on a heavy long sleeved shirt, but I still really enjoyed it!

Really, I’ve been know to bribe myself to get projects finished. Do you do that? Like, say, I can check my email if I finish balancing my checkbook. I can go browse the photography forum after I clean the kitchen. But the best bribe? The best motivator? Chocolate. Seriously.
I’m thinking I’m going to need a LOT of chocolate to bribe my way through finishing up our taxes!
So what do you do to motivate–or bribe–yourself?
