My freshman college boy is coming home for the Labor Day weekend. Don’t warn him. I’m going to be grilling him asking lots of questions about dorm life, classes, roommates and any and everything else I can think of. I might even do his laundry :wink: I miss his face.
Other stuff:
Some of you asked about earning money from your blogs. Did I mention I wrote an article about adding BlogHer ads to your blog? The article on advertising on your blog is over at Dandelionblog. Hop over there and read it if you’re thinking of starting to monetize your blog. I’m also hoping to get a series of articles up over there about Twitter. I so just did not GET twitter when I first started with it. I’m going to try and explain it so more of you will get addicted to twitter. try out Twitter.
In other news, I grounded two of my boys by text message last night. 
And one of their roommates. What do you think the chances are that grounding worked?? 
Ah, well, I amused myself sending the text message anyway.

Okay, confession is good for the soul, right? I told a lie. Yes, I’m confessing right here. Right now.
So, you know when I posted about the lavender out my front door? Well…sigh. Big boo-boo. SuperGuy so kindly pointed out to me… I’d posted a picture of the Speedwell flower that he’d planted among the lavender. Who knew? At least he didn’t out me to my blog. Well, I guess I’m outing myself, huh?
THIS is my real lavender:
The silly thing? Remember this spring when I had an unidentified purple flower? You guys helped me decide it was Speedwell… Well, I mentioned to SuperGuy that I liked it. So he bought a few more plants and plopped them in by the lavender. You’d think after all that discussion on “what is this plant“, that I’d finally recognize Speedwell. Well, not so much.
