Thanks for the hugs and cheering up yesterday. I’m pretty much over my funk. I think…

I decided that taking photos of flowers would cheer me right up!

Now on to the important discussion! Why in the world do you think that the word pansy became something bad to call a person? Why is being a pansy considered being wimpy or gay? I’d think being a pansy should mean being bright, cheerful, perky! Ah, well, I’ll never fully understand the English language. Do you have other words that you can’t figure out how they became twisted to their slang meaning?

hyacith-6599Sometimes when I’m all alone in the house…and there are no cell phones dinging with text messages. No video games raging in the background. No slamming front door. No clambering up and down the stairs. No boy noise at all…

It is all just so still and quiet.

Sometimes I miss it so deeply that it takes my breath away. I’m just sayin’.

Can I get a hug? Do any of you feel the same way sometimes?

Things that Upset Me

You know my lilac bush that I’m been trying to coax into blooming for like 6 years??

Not blooming. Again. BUT WAIT!!! What is that underneath the big lilac bush???

Why it’s a 67 CENT, yes I said CENT bush that SuperGuy bought last fall and dumped into the ground beneath my lilac bush.

lilac-6696 Well, yes, I do believe there are lilac blooms on this 67 cent lilac bush. :mad2:

I. Give. Up. My lilac is never going to bloom, but SuperGuy’s 67 cent lilac bush…twig really….grew and bloomed this year. Life is not fair sometimes… :cool2:
